COVID-19 Hospital Visitor Policy Updates
Here at Pacific Northwest Doulas we strive to keep all of our clients (current and future) up to date with all of the policies in place at local birthing facilities. Covid-19 has been stressful for those navigating pregnancy and delivery and we hope to help alleviate that by providing you with the policies that may affect you.
Below you’ll see the support person policies for all the facilities that our Doulas provide support at. We know that these changes may bring up a lot of emotions that may feel uncomfortable, please reach out if you’d like to talk through your options. If there are changes in policies, we will update them as soon as we are able.
Doulas do fall under the HealthCare Mandates that go into effect on October 18, 2021. All doulas attending hospital births will have the COVID-19 vaccination.
