POSTPARTUM SUPPORT

You just finished running the marathon of welcoming your new baby and now it’s time to bring this new little person home.

What now?!

Welcome to your new phase of life — filled with firsts, diapers, and some very sleepy nights.

That’s where your Postpartum & Infant Care Doula comes in! With support, experience, and a little bit of magic, we help you adjust to your new routine with confidence.

What does that look like?

Rest and Recover

Picture this: Your postpartum doula (aka your nighttime superhero) arrives at 10pm, checks in about your day, and helps with the bedtime routine for older kiddos or washing bottles and pump parts. Then, it’s time for you to rest- because you have MORE than earned it.

While you sleep, your doula’s priority is baby comfort and health. For nighttime feedings, we’ll wake you just enough to nurse — then, we let you fall right back to sleep. These solid sleep stretches help you recharge, so you can feel like yourself again.

Build Confidence

Your doula starts at 10am, helping get everyone ready for your baby’s first doctor’s appointment. Once home, she brings snacks, shares tips on latching and positioning for easier breastfeeding, and shows you a new swaddle trick to calm baby. Then, she rocks your little one to sleep while you enjoy a long shower and a nap. (Arguably the best nap and shower you’ve ever had in your entire life.)

Settle In

On your first day home with your newborn, your doulas gets you comfy with pillows and snacks, encouraging your partner to take some time for self-care. As she helps with your feeding plans (and frustrations), she listens to your birth story and talks with you about your postpartum recovery so far. Once baby’s fed, your doula takes over the baby care so you can shower and get some much needed rest, too. After you’ve slept, your doula revisits all the info that felt like a blur in the hospital- feeding, sleep, bathing, postpartum recovery.
