Let us tell you our thoughts on parents who bottle feed their children

You stuck your fingers in one of these innocent contraptions and then had the full panic moment of realizing that you couldn't get your fingers back out. No matter how hard you pulled, the dumb thing just squeezed tighter.

And then you realized that the answer to this little trick was the exact opposite than what you first assumed.

In our role, we see OBs a bit differently. Maybe it's because we have conversations with them outside of a hospital room, we've had coffee with them, or we're 'friends' on social media. Maybe it's just because we tend to look a bit deeper.

But there’s far more beneath the surface.

Because I am now an expert in the field of pregnant women, I would like to assist my loved ones (and other random strangers) in how to best support those who are in the midst of 9.5 months of growing a human.

Is a doula necessary for survival? Few people would say yes.

But are doulas a need? That’s a good question.

It's been almost 22 years since my daughter was born, but I went back to that moment in a heartbeat today.

And I got in my car and cried all over again.
